Girl Talk Seminar

Meagan is the kind of woman you feel alive around. She is full of energy, spunk and beauty. What I find most amazing about her, is that she is extremely humble and genuine. One night she’s a trophy girl at the Espy Awards in Hollywood, mingling with accomplished sports athletes, musicians and actors alike; then the next day she’s being a favorite aunt to her nephews.

This past weekend on Saturday July 20th, Meagan put on an awesome FREE event called Girl Talk in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Young girls between the ages of 12-16 were welcomed to come and listen to inspiring speakers, like Miss USA 2009 Kristen Dalton! They were greeted by enthusiastic volunteers and given a really cool opportunity to spend a day being encouraged with other young girls across Southern California.

It was an honor to play a part in the day as a show runner with my sweet friend Erika. Together, we joined in on what God was already doing in Meagan’s life and it was awe-inspiring to witness.

My husband’s company, Mr. Glowstick, donated glowsticks to assist the dynamic atmosphere that was created by the energy of the girls and Diversity Sounds DJ Services. It was a wonderful time!

The impact this seminar could make on a young girls heart and mind is pivotal. Changing the trajectory of her life for the better. And fanning that little flame of hope in her soul.

Here’s a glimpse into the day. Photos by Robert Vasquez:
