Stay The Course

February 12, 2014 I started a New Years Resolution. That resolution was: “Eat Better” + “Workout 5 Days A Week”.

Although, it’s so much more than that…

The decision, the change, was easy because I had a serious revelation – I wanted to be a vessel for God. I wanted to be used in foreign countries to help the poor. I wanted to create a healthy home for the Holy Spirit. I wanted zero excuses to do what I was called to do. I wanted to have a healthy space inside, that could carry a healthy child. I wanted this all, not just for me, but for God.

Each morning when I make up a hundred excuses not to go work out. I think of the inexcusable I have been forgiven for. I think about the Grace that I don’t deserve, yet I’m freely given. I think about His sacrifice for me. Then all my excuses are incomparable and I am motivated to do more, be better, become equipped.

I encourage you to make the same commitment to have no excuses. Because you are MORE than capable of doing the things God has called you to do. He created you for them. You just have to say yes, be obedient and disciplined. It will totally be worth it, friend.

Here’s an affirmation to help you:
Yes, I will.
Yes, I will try, hard.
Yes, because you loved me first.
I know the outcome I desire.
I hold fast to my dreams.
I stay the course.
I do not quit.
