Fountain of Water 30|30

Monday, December 8, 2014 | Day 30 of 30 Days of Journaling

Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. Ezekiel 2:6

Like cold water to a weary soul, is good news from a distant land. Proverbs 25:25

Calm.

Peaceful.

Restored.

Refreshed.

Our help in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 124:8

Some wandered in desert wastelands finding no way to a city where they could settle. They were hungry and thirsty and their loves ebbed away. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds fro men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. Psalm 107:4-9

I had a vision of a young girl, sitting on a water fountain, slowly moving her fingertips through the water. Watching the water move, enamored just by this. So calm, so peaceful and full.

This girl is me. The fountain of water is God. And the Holy Spirit is ever present.

He led me to a city where we could settle, he satisfied that young girls thirst and hunger with good g o o d things.

I give thanks to the Lord for he is good. His plans have always been for good.

As I spent the last 30 days in His presence, I feel immensely loved and fulfilled.

Not lacking.

I know God has so much to say. And I don’t want to miss out on it. So I will come to him daily, just as he has asked and just as I want to. Because He is my resource. My love tank is filled by Him and Him alone. Everything else has my cup running over.

Not lacking.

I’ll meet with you at the fountain, Father. There you will restore me.

There I’ll find peace.

Thank you for loving me,

Raquel
