Listen to this, Job; stop and consider God’s wonders. Job 37:14 NIV
When I first started spending time with God, I must admit, it was really just a one sided conversation. I just kept talking, praying, asking, rambling on, talking about this or that. And one day when I paused to catch my breath, I felt God say “now it’s my turn.” God has so much He wants to talk to you about. He’ll nudge you to open your bible to a certain verse, or give you a vision about His dreams for your life. You may think you don’t have time to just sit in God’s presence, but you need to make time. We’re on a quest to try and figure out why we are here on this Earth, so I’d say spending quiet time with God is absolutely vital.
#AMORNINGPRAYER: Good morning God, before I begin my regular routine, I’m asking You to come and meet me right here. I’m asking what direction would You like me to go in today? This time with You is so important and helps me to stay focused on what really matters. Thank You for meeting me here and sharing Your wonders with me. Amen
