You Are Not Weak

Having A Relationship With God Doesn't Mean Your Weak, It Means You Understand That There Is Power In Partnering With Him

Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭13-18‬ MSG

I think my pride is what kept me from having a relationship with God. Actually, my pride is what kept me out of the church and away from people who used words like “salvation, saved, grace, righteousness, and peace. I believed that “these people” were weak and didn’t go through hard stuff like I did. I could not have been more wrong. We are up against far more than we can handle on our own. There is desperation for help from a higher power or energy or whatever you may call God. We need Him! He needs us! This relationship, this partnership allows us to carry out His plan and purpose on this earth WITH His help. A relationship with God does not mean you’re weak, it’s means you understand there is power in partnering with Him.

#AMORNINGPRAYER: Heavenly Father, please strip away my pride. I pray the Holy Spirit prompts me to pick up my bible and read Your word. Your word has power. May I never be ashamed to pray to You and ask for Your help. Father, I need You, I thank You, I love You. Amen
